Slaughter Pen Playground
Visitors to Slaughter Pen trails in Bentonville enjoy a unique urban mountain biking experience. The 40-plus miles of single-track flow alongside the paved Razorback Regional Greenway and by Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, where the path is dotted with public art.
The Slaughter Pen system includes challenging trails ranging from beginners (on the All-American and Seed Tick Shuffle trails) to experts (on Scott Allen Alley and Medusa trails), with connector trails taking riders between the various hubs of the system. An IMBA Silver Level Ride Center, it’s genuinely a trail system with something for everyone. Clean flow, significant downhills, technical rocks, and massive berms. Insider Tip:
Slaughter Pen backs up to the majestic Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, which provides the opportunity for a unique shot of the building’s architecture and large-scale artwork on the museum grounds around the trail.
